Blog Tour: Safe Mode by Becky McGraw

WLK synopsis
When you fall asleep in safe mode, they may bury you...
Dr. Grace Wentworth is at the end of her rope with her wild sister who is pursuing the pipe dream of becoming an actress and pawning her daughter off on Grace to do so. When her sister doesn’t come back from her latest audition, and Grace finds out she’s gone to a BDSM resort in Vegas, she has no choice but to go to Sin City to find her and drag her home.
Dexter Buchanan is just looking for a little well-deserved time off from Deep Six Security to wallow in geek talk with fellow techies at the biggest military electronics show in the world in Vegas. What he gets is far from relaxing, however, when he sees his former college friend-with-benefits at the airport being hustled away in a limo to the Silver Chains Resort. After a little research, he finds out the resort is a kink club and thinks his very vanilla former lover and family friend must’ve lost her mind or she might be in trouble.
Could his decision not mind his own business unravel secrets of his own? Would his interference result in him losing his job at Deep Six, and maybe his life to boot? Or would it be his chance to reconnect with his hardcore military family who thought he was a failure, if he didn't drag them down with his sinking ship?

Blog Tour: Cop on her Doorstep by Karen Docter

Cop on Her Doorstep

(True Love In Uniform Book 1)

by Karen Docter

In the six years since her husband was killed by S.W.A.T., Carrie Padilla has spent long hours at work, rebuilding a life for herself and her son. The little time she has at home is spent keeping her eight-year-old son out of trouble, but he is all too eager to try to be the man in the house. When a handsome cop shows up on her doorstep, her errant son in tow, Carrie's heart stutters. The sexy Italian cop sets off all kinds of bells in her system, and she knows there's only one thing she can do to save what is left of her family, her husband’s memory, and her heart...avoid her new neighbor at all costs.

S.W.A.T. officer Jake Stefani already lost one little boy to gang violence, the dead boy’s older brother is missing, and Jake's not about to let the same thing happen to a neighbor's son. He drags the youngster home only to discover much more than a passing interest in the boy's beautiful, but wary, mother. Forced to take a leave of absence after a bust goes awry, Jake can think of nothing better to occupy his time than to keep Carrie and her son safe, and locate the missing teen who holds the key to taking the gang off the streets, once and for all.

But Jake doesn’t count on his stubborn, intriguing neighbor distracting him from his job, or the passion that flares between them. He doesn’t expect her amazing son to steal a piece of his heart. Jake is ready to risk everything for Carrie, body and soul. But it’s not all up to him. If their new love is to survive, Carrie will need to be strong enough to see the man's beating heart behind the badge, to look beyond the pain of her past, and decide that loving again is worth the risk. “I found your son in my back yard.” He glanced at Eric. “He was engaged in a potentially harmful activity I thought you should know about.”
What in blazes is a potentially harmful activity? “What was he doing?”
“Preparing to vandalize my house.”
“What?” She stared at Eric. “Is this true?”
Her son’s eyes dimmed behind a flood of tears. His head bobbed up and down. His mouth opened, but no explanation came out. He simply fell apart. In seconds, her little boy was sobbing as if his heart would break.
Carrie scooted from her chair, rounded the coffee table, and knelt at his feet. She enfolded his trembling body in her arms and castigated herself for not registering how abnormally quiet that he’d been since he entered the house. He was in shock. The last thing he needed was her yelling at him.
“Shh, baby. It’s all right. We’ll work it out. It’s okay.” She pressed a gentle kiss against his temple. “Ah, honey, don’t cry.”
Jake couldn’t decide which bothered him the most, the stricken look on Carrie Padilla’s face or the hopeless sounds ripping from Eric’s narrow chest. He’d always been a sucker for distressed females and kids, and these two served as a double-shot.
He couldn’t shake the similarities between Mateo Reyes and Eric. Neither did it help that Eric’s mom was one of the sexiest women he’d ever met. His tastes normally ran to tall, sultry brunettes, but there was something about this petite woman's girl-next-door look that was firing his libido big-time.
Her eyes, a delectable shade of caramel with flecks of amber, drew him in deeper every time he looked at her. What her curvaceous body did to the sports tee and running shorts combo she wore should be outlawed. Clinging, damp material and flushed skin was a deadly combination. As if that weren’t enough, she had the most exquisite legs. The color of cream with a light splash of coffee. Smooth. Sexy. Nearly perfect.
His gaze dashed to her left ankle. The mole he’d noticed above her tennis shoe winked back at him, calling for his attention as a neon sign never could. It shouted, “Start here!” just like one of those connect-the-dot books he’d hoarded as a kid. He had a compulsive desire to follow the instruction, to nibble on that ankle and work slowly over the rest of her dewy skin to see if he could somehow develop a pattern.
Caught by the fantasy, his lips twitched. Who cared if there was a picture there? The seeking, all by itself, would make the trip worthwhile. In fact, his entire vacation might not be enough time to do justice to such an exploration.
Jake’s jaw clenched against the unreasonable cascade of desire. Was he nuts? This woman’s legs had nothing to do with his purpose here. And, if the impenetrable wall he’d watched form in her eyes a few minutes ago had meaning, he wouldn’t get a chance to go exploring in any case.

Blog Tour: Temp Me Twice by Eden Bradley

Tempt Me Twice
by Eden Bradley
Contemporary menáge m/m/f with a little spanking

In this greatly expanded and rewritten version of one of New York Times Bestseller Eden Bradley’s fan favorites can a romp in the woods with two sexy men turn into a lasting love with her best friend?

Jessie has been in love with her bisexual best friend, Paul, since college. But he’s never made a move on her, and they both value the friendship too much to take any risks with it—or so she believes.

When Paul and his stunning sometime lover Noah coerce Jessie into coming along on a camping trip to Lake Tahoe, she tries to refuse, but their will is stronger than hers. She ends up in a tent in the woods with the two gorgeous men, living out the ultimate female fantasy as their first night turns into a heated tangle of bodies that continues for days.

Jessie knows the intensely erotic—and intensely emotional—experience must come to an end when the trip is over, but when it does, will she lose her best friend, or can friendship turn into something more?

Paul helped her to her feet, and his hand on hers was an electric shock—that jolting, that hot.
“Whoa, Jess. Hang on.”
“I’m fine. Just have a nice little buzz going.”
He grinned at her. “Maybe more than a little.”
“Maybe.” She grinned back, her body heating all over as he looped an arm around her waist.
A strong, muscular arm, and oh God, the way he smelled!
They moved to the tent, and Noah held the flap back for them. It was a large tent, almost tall enough for Paul to stand up in. Noah was already spreading out their sleeping bags, Paul’s in the middle. Jessie sat down on hers to take off her shoes.
Paul stretched, reaching out to ruffle Noah’s blond hair. “Anyone else tired?”
“A little sleepy from the wine maybe,” Jessie said.
“Me, too. A little.” Noah pulled his shirt over his head, revealing tight abs and a wide chest. A Japanese-style tsunami wave curved over one shoulder. She could make out his muscle tone even in the dim light of the single lantern they’d taken into the tent with them, and it was spectacular. He was spectacular.
It only made her wish that she had her own tent—because how could Paul not want to have sex with him tonight? But even from a neighboring tent, if she had to lie there listening to them have sex, it would be torture.
Paul stripped his shirt off, too. She’d seen him without a shirt before, but it was something she never got over. The lean lines of his body, his smooth skin, his dark nipples surrounded by a sprinkling of black hair. She wanted to put her mouth there, to suck. She wanted to put her mouth everywhere.
She curled her hands into fists, pulling in a deep breath, but it was filled with the scent of two hot men edged with pine and fresh night air, a heady combination.
Stop it. Time to sleep.
The men stripped down to their boxer-briefs as she knelt on her sleeping bag, pretending she didn’t notice. But it was impossible not to notice. Both were hard, both with impressive erections under the dark cotton. She squeezed her thighs tightly, her sex burning with need.
Oh yeah. Gonna die.
Paul glanced at her. “You’re not sleeping in your clothes, are you, Jess? It’s too hot.”
“Um…I guess not.”
She shrugged, wiggled out of her jeans, leaving her in her tank top and underwear. She tried to pretend they weren’t all nearly naked together. As Paul lay down on the sleeping bag next to hers, she could swear she felt the heat from his big body, his scent warm on the night air, and more faintly, Noah’s scent, fresh and all male.
How was she ever going to get to sleep?
When Paul leaned over and pressed a soft kiss to her forehead, she had to bite her tongue to keep from groaning aloud.
“’Night, Jess.”
“Sleep well,” Noah said.
She lay in the near-dark, moonlight casting shadows inside the tent, doubting she’d ever get to sleep as she listened to the rhythm of the two men breathing and the crickets chirping in the night. It was hot in the tent, and they were all laid out on top of their sleeping bags. She was far too aware of the two bodies next to her. Far too awake, despite the wine.
Squeezing her eyes closed, she tried to shut her mind off, trying to rid it of the images of Paul and Noah, the two of them touching each other. Touching her. But they kept coming, one sensual flash after another, until she was soaking wet, fighting to hold still, to keep her hand from creeping between her thighs, spreading her pussy lips apart to find the hard nub of her clit and bringing herself to a much-needed orgasm. But with the two guys right there and not even the sleeping bag to cover her, all she could do was bite back a moan.
There was a soft sound next to her, and she turned her head. Paul had his back to her, and she could see Noah’s hand resting on his side, then moving down, over the hard muscle of his buttocks.  She could barely make out much more than their silhouettes, the shadows of hands, but she could tell they had them all over each other, stroking slowly.
Seriously? They were going to do this with her right there? There hadn’t even been time for her to fall asleep!
Kill me now.

Blog Tour: Catch That Santa by Karen Docter

Catch That Santa

A Romantic Comedy Novelette

by Karen Docter

When widow, Sara Marks, hears her Grams has gone on the lam from Happy Acres Residence on Christmas Eve – on Santa’s arm, no less -- she teams up with sexy stranger, Francisco de la Vega, to chase the couple down with one thing in mind. Keep her Grams from becoming Mrs. Claus. Of course, Francisco's grandfather is not really Santa Claus, but Grams did run off to Vegas to marry him and she's obviously not in her right mind.

Sara leaves her seven-month-old baby, Lanie, with a friend and she and Cisco head west in the worst snowstorm in decades, chasing his grandfather's '57 Ford Fairlane over the river and through the woods.

Will they catch Santa and his crazy Mrs. Claus before it's too late? Or will love stop them in their tracks? (Novelette, approximately 17,000 words/50 pages)

ONLY 99¢

“What do you mean, Grams ran off with Santa Claus?” Sara Marks stared at the first floor orderly, Buddy Cantor, who’d met her outside her grandmother’s room at Happy Acres Residence. She could barely catch her breath after dashing through the facility carrying her sleeping seven-month-old. It had taken her a full thirty minutes to drive from the church near her apartment across Denver’s snow packed streets in her crotchety, old Ford, when it should have taken ten. Twenty minutes too long if her grandmother was truly missing. She should never have gone to the Christmas Eve service.

She’d suspected Grams was up to something when she called and told her to come later so she could take a nap before their usual dinner together. There was something in her voice, but Sara hadn’t paid enough attention with little Lanie fussing in her ear. “Next thing you’ll tell me is Santa took her to the North Pole in a sleigh pulled by reindeer.”

“No. A gold ’57 Ford Fairlane convertible.” The man shuffled uneasily in the doorway. “And they’re headed to Vegas. We think.”

“Vegas.” Movement in her arms made her aware Lanie was fully awake and ready to play. She grinned up at Sara with two shiny new bottom teeth, like she’d woken up just to laugh at her great-grandma’s latest flight of fancy.

Oh, Grams, what have you done?

Sara frowned at the orderly. “This is insane,” she said. “She has to be here. You searched the building? She loves the arboretum.”

Buddy nodded. “We’ve canvassed the entire building, mast to deck. Stem to stern.” The orderly fancied himself a sailor, although Sara couldn’t see how buying a bass boat gave him the chops to litter sailing terms through every conversation she’d ever had with the man.

“Could she be hiding for some reason?” There was never an inkling Grams was unhappy at Happy Acres. Or that her faculties were failing. The woman might be pushing eighty but she was still sharp as a tack. It was her mobility that forced Sara to accept her grandmother’s insistence she move to this facility.

Happy Acres was a large complex with suites on the west side for more independent residents, while those who needed assistance lived in the east wing. Grams had moved herself into the east wing after her fall four months ago, claiming it was time she move out of Sara’s tiny apartment anyway and make room for her first great-granddaughter.

Sara argued until she was blue in the face but her independent Grams had already signed the papers and paid the upfront, non-refundable fees. It was a done deal by the time Grams asked Sara to help her pack.

A knot of apprehension grew in her chest, right above where little Lanie was elbowing her sternum. Sara smothered her growing panic and laid the baby on the bed to remove her new hat and coat. “Okay, so Grams isn’t here.” She picked up Lanie and refocused her attention on the orderly. “When did she leave with this Santa Claus? Did she know him?”

She answered her own question. “Of course, she had to know him, or she wouldn’t have left with him.” She frowned. “Why do you think they’re heading for Vegas?”

He reached into his pocket and handed her a folded piece of paper. “Your grandmother left this note on her bed.” Sara unfolded the paper. Sara, honey, don’t fret. Santa’s finally come, as I told you he would. Getting married in Vegas. Your Christmas present is under the bed. Don’t wait till tomorrow to open it. You’ll need it. Love, Grams.

There was a postscript. P.S. Didn’t have time to water my begonias. Please take care of that for me before you come? Can’t wait to see you!

Grams’ hold on reality was becoming dicey in Sara’s mind. “I don’t understand.” She glanced around the small room at the begonias Grams babied like children – fifteen begonias to be exact, scattered on bookshelves, an antique dresser and armoire, on the floor near the sliding glass doors that led to her private patio – as if the hand-painted pots also held the answer that would end her confusion. “How long has she been gone?” she asked.

by NY Times & USA Today Bestselling Author Eden Bradley

Eden Bradley’s iconic kink stories GIRL, BOY and MASTER in The Training House Series are available now in print as a Box Set! Pleasure in pain…pain in love… They come to the Training House to become immersed in the most powerful and extreme form of submission: absolute slavehood. It is only in this formal environment, and under the strict rules of their slave contracts, that their immense yearnings can be satisfied. Or can they? Aimée arrives with a pure slave’s heart, never expecting to find more than the fulfillment of a frightening and necessary sexual journey. Christopher has returned, as he always does. The baddest of bad slaves, he never truly expects to find anything beyond a temporary release. And then there’s the Master… Master Damon owns the Training House. His is a life of carefully followed rules, the extremes of deviant and sensual creativity, and the heavy weight of responsibility. The Training House is a dreamworld where needs are denied and met at a Master’s whims. But what happens when these rigid roles become fluid, and love is suddenly part of the game? Anyone could win—or everyone could lose it all.
THE TRAINING HOUSE Series is Eden’s hardest-core BDSM yet! More ‘erotica’ than ‘erotic romance’, there will nevertheless be a love story woven throughout these very kinky pages.

Blog Tour: Christmas Surprise on MacLean Mountain by Randi Alexander

Christmas Surprise on MacLean Mountain
A Sweet Holiday Romance
Randi Alexander
Doctor Booker MacLean is shocked when his estranged wife calls and asks to talk to him in person. Is Sybil back to finally ask for a divorce? Three days before Christmas? He hardens himself for the blow that’s sure to come.

Sybil MacLean has been gone from MacLean Mountain and from her husband for seven long months, and now she’s back to admit that leaving was a terrible mistake. She has a secret, but won’t share it with Booker unless he forgives her and takes her back first.

As a powerful blizzard moves into the Colorado Rockies and Sybil and Booker are stranded together atop MacLean Mountain, will his fierce pride and her need for his understanding keep them from spending Christmas with the one they love most?

Sybil kicked off her non-skid-soled winter boots and glanced around. It looked exactly the same. The pine floors and big, thick rugs, heavy trim around the windows and on the high ceilings, and the overstuffed rustic furniture they’d picked out together. Was that just a year and a half ago? Walking past the huge stone fireplace, she stepped into her kitchen. Tall moss-green cabinets and stainless appliances, neat as a surgery suite, and not a thing moved from when she’d been here. Even the pictures and coupons held on the refrigerator by magnets were the same.

Booker came in carrying her bags and she walked through the living room to the small powder room and closed the door. In the mirror, her reflection showed a mess of snarled hair and pink cheeks, but she felt revitalized. How many times had she dreamed of being here with Booker again? Sybil found her hairbrush in the same drawer she’d left it in seven months ago. That was a good sign. He hadn’t packed up all her things and stored them in the barn. Or burned them in a fire aimed at cleansing his life of her.

She would take this opportunity to prove to Booker she really did trust him, and wanted to make their marriage work. Brushing her hair, she said a small prayer, just needing to know she had some divine backup for her plan.

When she stepped into the living room, she spotted him sitting on his heels, his feet in the gray wool socks he wore in the winter, putting logs into the fireplace onto an already-burning fire.

“That was fast.” She sidled up to him, holding out her hands to warm them.

He stood and turned to face her, his silvery eyes catching the glow of the flames.

Looking up at him, she wanted so badly to put her hands on his chest, let him pull her into his arms, pick her up and carry her to the soft couch the way they always had. Snuggle together and make love, nap and start all over again, all night long.

That wasn’t what was going to happen now. She dropped her hands to her sides. “I guess now is the time to talk.”

“Uh huh.” He gestured toward the two light-brown leather chairs on one side of the couch. “Can I get you something to eat? Some water or tea?”

The offer shocked her out of her cozy mood. He was treating her like a guest, not like the woman of the house. “Just water, please.” If that was how he wanted to do this, she’d accommodate him. Walking to the chairs, she sat and tucked her legs up under her, waiting for him to serve her.

It took him a second to get moving, and he brought back two glasses of water. He’d used the hand-blown glasses they’d gotten from his uncle for their wedding. Lord, the memories in this place. How had she ever found the fortitude to leave her home? And how would she be able to leave again if he didn’t come around to her point of view and let her stay?

“Why didn’t you tell me, Sybil?” He sat, his eyes showing his concern.

Sexy in Space by Marie Tuhart #mysexysaturday

It's that time again for My Sexy Saturday.

This week's theme:  Sexy in Space

This is 7 paragraphs from a work in progress, I don't have anything that fits Sexy in Space, but thought I'd give you a preview of my newest hero and heroine. Cameron left town 6 months ago to go teach in Scotland, he's now returned. Kristen kissed him and whispered naughty thing to him the night before he left.  Now he's come to collect.

"We have some unfinished business." He reached across the table and captured her hand before she could pull it back.

"We do?" Her voice trembled a bit as she sat straighter in her chair.

"Yes. Did you really mean what you said at my going away party?"

Her teeth nibbled at her lower lip for a minute. "What did I say? That was six months ago." She lowered her gaze to the tabletop where he held her hand.

"You remember." He squeezed her hand, then lowered his voice. "Look at me." When she didn’t move an inch, Cam inhaled deeply, and in his best Dom voice said, "Look. At. Me."

She lifted her gaze from their hands to meet his. Her eyes were wide and bright. "Cameron," she started, trying to pull her hand from his. He didn’t let go.

"Tell me. Did you fantasize about me tying you up to my bed and having my wicked way with you while I was gone?"

My Sexy Dreamer by Marie Tuhart #mysexysaturday

It's that time again for My Sexy Saturday.

This week’s theme is My Sexy Dreamer. Know that guy or girl with big dreams? The one yous always oo'd and ah'd over. Yeah...that one..find the one were' talking about.

This is 7 paragraphs from my book Melt My Heart, who can resist a hero who rescues a dog. Gabriel is in Lexi's vet office after she's looked over the little puppy Gabriel found at his construction site.

“Hey, boy,” he said, rubbing the top of the dog’s head. The puppy made a noise then wiggled in Lexi’s hold. She handed him over to Gabriel. The puppy snuggled right into his arms, his little head resting trustingly on Gabriel’s chest, staring up at him. “Can I take him home?”

“You’re going to keep him?” Her mouth fell open.

          “Why does that surprise you?”

Lexi shook her head. “I just didn’t expect you to want to keep him.”

“He needs a home.” Gabriel looked down at the puppy. “And who could resist eyes like that?” He scratched the puppy’s head once again.

She laughed. “He should be fine. He’s hydrated, been given medication and a couple of vaccinations. He’s about three months old.”

“Okay. What do you say, Zeus? Are you ready to blow this place?” The dog let out a muted bark, and they both laughed.

I hope you've enjoyed this week's My Sexy Saturday.  Don't forget to check  out all the other my sexy bloggers this week.

Most especially when she’s tied to the bed… Her Internet Lover… “There’s something I want you to do.” His voice was low, hard; a certain, intense timbre vibrated through him to her, thrumming over the computer connection. “Yes,” she breathed. “Anything.” “First, what are you wearing?” It was all Katherine could do to hold back her laugh. “Not that again.” “Seriously. I want an answer.” She shrugged. “A cocktail dress. Black. With heels.” “Put on your teddy,” he commanded, and she complied. She slipped off her dress and bra, dropping both on a forgotten pile on the floor, and then pulled her satin teddy from her suitcase. It felt cool slipping over her skin. It caught on her hard nipples, making them grow even fatter. She moaned as she rubbed them, you know, just a little, to enhance the mood. “Mmm. It feels good.” “Are you wearing the teddy?” “Yes.” “Perfect. What do you have on under it?” “Nothing. Well, panties.” “Perfect. Do you still have the heels on?” “Yes.” She did. As much as she hated them, she loved the way they looked. Besides, the heels completely changed the way she felt in the black teddy. In the full length mirror behind the door, she looked practically sexy. “How do you look?” “Hot.” “I’ll bet.” The words were guttered, heavy and harsh. “I wish I could see you. Now. There’s something I want you to do.” “What?” “I want you to go and get two ice cubes.” “What?” Was he insane? She’d have to walk all the way through the hotel suite to the kitchen. “In my teddy?” “Yes.” “Savage, he might see me.” “What if he does? Maybe he’ll fuck you. That’s what you want. Isn’t it?” Katherine didn’t answer. “Isn’t it? Deep down, you want him inside you.” Again, she didn’t respond. “Answer me.” “Yes. Yes.” “Then go to the kitchen. In your teddy. And get two ice cubes. Oh. And Wildkat?” “Yes?” “Before you go, take off the panties.” “What?” “Take them off. I want you completely exposed. And I want you to know how exposed you are.” “I can’t.” “You can. If you don’t, I’ll have to punish you.” “But—” “No Kat. No questions. Just do it.” She stood by the door for several minutes, contemplating this challenge and, most especially, how it made her feel. She was liquid inside, and quivering. She would, she decided at length, go to the kitchen and get the ice cubes wearing her teddy, but she would leave her panties in place. Utterly bare-assed was a little further than she was willing to go, especially when Adam might discover her at any moment. Besides…Savage would never know she had cheated just a little. Slowly she turned the knob and peered out into the hallway. There was no one there. She slipped through the shadows and into the living room, heading toward the kitchen. She pushed open the swinging door and froze. There stood Adam Trillo cracking out ice cubes at the counter. His chest was bare—a magnificent panoply of rippling muscles and scattered darkling dust. He wore only baggy gray sweatpants held up, it seemed, by the enormous bulge in the front.
“Hey there Wildkat,” he purred. “What took you so long?”

The red-hot sequel to Adam’s Obsession.
Tristan Trillo has one steadfast rule—thou shalt not fish in the company pond. That puts his executive assistant Shannon Weiss firmly out of reach. He tells himself the secret steamy computer simulations he creates—ones featuring a seductress with more than a passing resemblance to Shannon—are enough. But watching the virtual Shannon get spanked or tied up, taken from behind or while down on her knees, just makes him want the real Shannon more.
When Shannon discovers the depth of Tristan’s desire, she vows to seduce him in real life, his rule be damned. After a blazing, illicit tryst in Tristan’s office, he insists they can never do it again. So Shannon, ever the obedient assistant, makes certain the next time she seduces him, they do something completely different.
Poor Tristan is a man trapped between his steadfast rule and a burning passion. A rock, if you will, and a very hard place.
